A beautiful, more refined teapot in a pale green color transitioning to deep black at the base. Handcrafted by Polish artist Artur Rej, it holds exactly 70 milliliters of water, making it optimal for Chinese gongfu-style brewing, suitable for one to two, or at most three, people. It pours a quick, precise stream in 5 seconds. The interior is glazed, meaning it doesn’t affect the taste of the brew and can be used for all types of tea. It is dishwasher safe. The teapot has sturdy walls, allowing for strong, decisive movements without burning the hands. The filter has as many as twenty-five holes, small enough to retain leaves from even the finest Japanese teas. The extended lid base ensures it stays very securely in place, with no wobbling, and it produces a pleasant, stone-like sound when covered.
What we find most captivating about this teapot is its darker color palette, reminiscent of a starry night sky. It is also worth noting that its handle is particularly wide, which, besides offering an interesting aesthetic effect, can be an advantage for tea enthusiasts with larger hands. Artur Rej creates artistic tea ceramics in his workshop in the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park, where he also organizes ceramic workshops. His ceramics style is unique, with his creations featuring cheerful, deep colors and pleasant, rounded shapes.
