A matchawan, a bowl for preparing and drinking matcha, thrown on the wheel by the Krak\u00f3w\u2011based artist Po\u0142a S\u0142omka.<\/p>\n

This matchawan has a truly unique shape – the double rounded “snowman” form immediately catches the eye. The outside has a lovely red tone made up of darker lines and lighter, almost orange areas. Inside, it’s light and creamy, decorated with tiny brown speckles that look a bit like freckles. <\/p>\n

The bowl is fully glazed, which means it doesn’t affect the taste of the tea and is safe to wash in the dishwasher.<\/p>\n
