A beautiful teapot with a gentle, soft character, handmade by the Polish ceramic artist Artur Rej.
It has a pleasant, slightly lower profile, further emphasized by its flat black lid. The beautiful green glaze fades in places into a washed‑out black, and one side of the teapot resembles the classic Taiji symbol, the Yin‑Yang motif.
The teapot has a wider spout and a seven‑hole strainer. It pours quickly in a strong, thick stream.
It is glazed, which means it does not affect the taste of the tea, works well with any type of leaf, and can be safely washed in a dishwasher.
Its capacity is 100 ml, just right for three or four people.
Artur Rej crafts artistic teaware in his studio nestled in the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park, where he also runs pottery workshops. His ceramic style is truly distinctive—his pieces are known for their cheerful, rich colors and soft, rounded forms that invite touch as much as admiration.
