CHAZE #1 TEA SCOOP – ŁUKASZ MIKOŁAJCZYK (Kopia)

Copper and brass chaze, traditional scoops used for presenting and pouring tea leaves.

140,00

Unique, handcrafted scoops for measuring and serving loose‑leaf tea. Mostly made from copper, with a few lighter ones in brass.

Chaze in chinese means tea standard. Before electric scales were common, it helped measure out the right amount of leaves – by placing the leaves against the same background each time, you quickly learn what the proper amount looks like. A chaze also makes it easy to pour large leaves – like those in White Peony – into small teapots. The leaves slide straight in without getting stuck.

Each of these chaze is one of a kind. In the order comment, you can mention which one you like most. If it’s still available, we’ll send that exact piece. If not, we’ll choose the one that’s closest in look and feel.
