A rough, rustic tea cup made entirely by hand by Polish artist Artur Rej.
Very pleasant to the touch, rough and matte, full of wonderful dark chamotte, meaning grains of a different clay. Each cup is unique, each has a slightly different shape and different shades, which is characteristic of handmade ceramics.
Capacity from about 50 to about 60 ml.
These cups pair especially well with this gaiwan, sharing similar colors and textures. They will look excellent together as a single set.
The vessels are glazed, which means they do not affect the taste of the tea and are suitable for dishwasher cleaning.
Artur Rej crafts artistic teaware in his studio nestled in the Bóbr Valley Landscape Park, where he also runs pottery workshops. His ceramic style is truly distinctive—his pieces are known for their cheerful, rich colors and soft, rounded forms that invite touch as much as admiration.
