The 150g variant fits in the original Renegades packaging, while the 50g is transferred to a compostable doypack bag.
We present to you a long-awaited debut in our shop – an excellent Georgian black tea from our friends at Renegade Tea Estate! Don’t let the name referring to a certain daily English tea fool you. Georgian Breakfast is a very high-quality black tea with the unique character of roasted cocoa beans and an unbelievable depth in flavour. The aroma released from freshly opened packaging speaks for itself. The long, curly leaves are preserved in their entity, so we can admire their beauty in all their glory.
The tea’s uniqueness doesn’t reside just within its flavour and aroma (which probably has no equal throughout all of Georgia). Equally important is Renegade’s unusual mission; they are a group of tea enthusiasts from Estonia and Lithuania, who decided to throw caution to the wind, leave home for the Caucasus and revitalise abandoned tea plantations. For 30 years, thousands of hectares of neglected plantations were left to fend for themselves after years of Soviet central planning. Renegade Tea Estate not only restored several dozen hectares of plantations in the region near the city of Kutaisi, but also remoulded the face of Georgian tea, which until now was associated with low-quality, crushed black tea. Renegade has several dozen types of excellent tea, and as courtesy of them, we have the pleasure of being the only shop in Poland to have their product on offer.
We strongly recommend you visit their website https://renegadetea.com to find out more about the unique teas. And we encourage you to try Georgian Breakfast tea; we guarantee that it will be hard to give this tea a miss.
