A blend of spices used to make Indian chai masala.
Yogi Masala is the best spice blend of the famous Indian chai to be found on the market. Its base is made up of spices, which are neatly complimented by Italian fennel and orange peel. The blend contains spice cuttings that aren’t ground into a powder. As a result they retain their freshness for much, much longer; their flavour isn’t flat and ‘faded’ like in the typical pre-prepared blends.
In order to get everything out of Yogi Masala, it’s best to cook the blend for at least a few minutes. Now prepared, the brew can be combined with a strong black tea, with milk, honey, or sugar; perfect for a big mug, accompanied by a blanket and a book. Like any kind of herbal blend, it also brews wonderfully by itself in a mug.
We will add that if it’s difficult for you to get through the winter without your daily-dose of chai masala, it’s possible to make up a big batch to stock up on. Place it in the fridge and for a few weeks you can quickly make up a drink for every occasion.
