Kenya Kericho is the first African tea in our range and we liked it so much that we dream about more of it. It’s a wonderful black tea composed of delicate, unbroken leaves – and on top it all off, we have it at a low price. Contrary to appearance, classic black teas can strongly vary depending on their place of origin, however, the differences only become clear by comparing quality products.
Good Kenyan black teas are most often characterised by flavours of mature, dark fruits. There is no exception in this case; the deep amber-coloured infusion connotes aronia berries, currants, red wine, quince or pear. Kenya Kericho is a black tea which will really surprise you.

Kenyan tea has something reminiscent of Kenyan coffee. It’s strong, slightly peppery, and fruity, leaning towards citrus and berries. The finish has dry and subtly wine-like notes.
