A genuine rarity from the Taklamakan Desert – dried damascena rose buds with the captivating aroma of fresh flowers. Picked by specialists on the gigantic plantations in the Hotan oasis, they remain a genuine rarity on the European market. The harvested buds were picked in late spring and remain fresh for a long time.
We mainly associate rose infusions with exaggerated tea blends with artificial sweeteners. However, don’t be fooled; in taste, rose buds are not as sweet and intoxicating as you would expect. The distinct, pleasant flavour of flowers gently accompanies a rather refreshing, clear brew.
We recommend Desert Rose as a caffeine-free alternative to tea, especially as it is known for its calming and relaxing properties. Women also often turn to rose petals and buds when they have menstrual problems. It’s also worth having a go at dropping a few buds into your favourite tea – maybe you can create your own favourite blend?

Dried buds of the Damask rose growing in the Taklamakan Desert, specifically in the Hetian oasis, also known as the ‘Fields of Harmony.’ It’s a completely different story: the infusion of Polish rose can be bland, while in Desert Rose we find only cool sweetness and intense floral notes. It tastes like rose pastries, but without the fat!
