Description
A fresh combination of a light oolong tea with the pure flower of Chinese magnolia. This is an exceptionally fitting composition because tea itself, the camellia sinensis plant, evolved from magnolia! The mixture of these plants produces an infusion with a bright, naturally sweet taste and a distinctly floral aroma.
The scent is pleasant yet exceptionally intense, easily noticeable throughout the whole room during brewing. In contrast to artificially flavored teas, the aroma does not diminish after the first steeping; on the contrary, as befitting an oolong tea, the leaves can be steeped multiple times, and subsequent infusions can yield an even more floral brew than the first.
The tea used in this blend is a high mountain oolong from the Qing Xin cultivar, renowned for its high flavor notes, operating in the same region as flower infusions. The magnolia itself comes from the Chinese province of Guangxi, from an organic cultivation.
